In the theory division of the MPI for colloids and interfaces we have open positions for

PhD students: Multiscale Modelling of Polysaccharide Materials

The objective of the project is to determine the molecular origin and structure function relationship of the exceptional properties of hemicellulose polysaccharides. The candidate will build and validate a computational model using atomistic simulations, free energy calculations and systematic coarse graining methods. This model will then be applied to explain and predict material properties of complex polysaccharide systems.Please send your application with CV, publication list etc. to
