Surface Characterization
Thorough knowledge of the surface properties of polymer dispersions is crucial for the understanding of their stability. An important tool to determine the amounts as well as the kind of charges on the surface are the various kinds of electrophoretic investigations. At present a work is in progress to investigate the electrophoretic properties of various kinds of latexes differing in their surface composition.
