The group of Dr. Bartholomäus Pieber (www.pieberlab.com) in the Department of Biomolecular Systems (Director Prof. Dr. Peter H. Seeberger) at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam, Germany invites applications from outstanding young scientists for the position of PhD student (m/f/d) | photocatalytic organic synthesis.
We are looking for three highly motivated PhD students in the field of photocatalytic organic synthesis. The candidates should have a degree in chemistry or closely related fields, with an outstanding profile, a strong background and interests in
- Organic synthesis
- Synthetic methodology
- Experience in Photochemistry/Photocatalysis is beneficial
The positions will be under the project CAT_LIMITS funded by the Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation in the PieberLab (www.pieberlab.com).
The positions are available starting from June 2022.
The accepted candidate will join the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Biomolecular Systems Department, in the group led by Dr. Bartholomäus (Bart) Pieber.
