Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Kai Xiao is currently an Alexander Humboldt Post-Doctoral Researcher in Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interface, cooperate with Prof. Markus Antonietti. His research interests mainly focus on the ions transportation properties based on solid-state 1D nanochannels/nanopore, 2D layered membrane, and 3D nanoporous membrane, and their application in energy and sensory systems. Dr. Kai Xiao received Bachelor's degree in Collage of Chemistry, Jilin University (Changchun, China) in 2012. In September, he joined Prof. Lei Jiang’ group in Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, working on the fabrication of novel biomimetic smart nanochannels/nanopores and their applications. He received PhD degree in June, 2017, then moved to Potsdam start his Post-Doctoral research. To date, he has authored in excess of 40 PubMed-indexed publications, most of them mainly in prestigious international journals such as Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem., Adv. Mater., and J. Am. Chem. Soc. He was invited to write a chapter because of his previous work. (Google scholar:
