Main Focus
Hogyeong is interested in how HPC polymer chains self-assemble and how this process leads to structural coloration. Her main goal is to understand the structure of HPC that enables such fascinating phenomenon.
Curriculum Vitae
Hogyeong Lee is a student assistant in the Department of Sustainable and Bio-inspired Materials, headed by Prof. Silvia Vignolini, at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces. Hogyeong studied Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at Ewha Womans University in South Korea, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Polymer Science in Berlin, a joint program of Free University Berlin, Humboldt University Berlin, Technical University Berlin, and University of Potsdam.
