6th "Microscopy characterisation of organic-inorganic interfaces"
1-2 March 2022, online
organised by the Royal Microscopical Society and the Max Plank Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (Potsdam) in cooperation with Cornell University (USA).
The idea of the meeting is to combine the knowledge of life science and
materials science microscopists in order to stimulate new interdisciplinary
approaches for solving materials problems at organic-inorganic interfaces,
to bring together experts and young scientists from both fields, and to promote
discussions and close collaborations between those two communities.
The 6th edition of the conference goes transatlantic and has a special focus on "Advances in Analytical Cryo-Electron Microscopy: From sample preparation to data acquisition to data analysis”
Confirmed invited speakers include:
Prof. Dr. Liane G. Benning, GFZ Potsdam, Germany
Prof. Dr. Utkur Mirsaidov, National University of Singapore, Singapore
Dr. Miaofang Chi, ORNL, USA
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Lorenz, EPFL, Switzerland
Prof. Dr. Ute Kaiser, Ulm University, Germany
Dr. Lucy Collinson, The Francis Crick Institute, London, UK
Prof. Dr. Andrew Minor, UC Berkeley, USA
Abstract submission is open now for poster abstracts. Submission deadline - 10 December 2021
